Mold Testing

Mold testing is a big part of understanding the health and safety of a home.

Having a certified professional available to provide comprehensive and thorough mold testing of your home enables you to have peace of mind. The process isn’t as easy as just seeing mold and knowing there’s a problem. Rather, it’s critical to understand the risk factors for mold growth and to have the most advanced technology and resources to find and test mold to determine its risk level.

How Does a Mold Assessment Work?

The goal of mold testing is to gain insight into whether mold is present in any given area. To do this, we use non-intrusive methods, like the use of infrared thermal imaging as well as the use of moisture detection systems. This allows us to pinpoint any area of mold to determine if there is a risk to the property owners.

We can also take air and surface sampling when we know there is a mold concern within the area. We will provide documentation and information about the presence of mold if detected and then offer recommendations for remediation.

Why Have an Inspection?

Making the decision to have mold testing done is an important one. If you believe mold is present in the home or you need to be sure it is not due to a family member’s health, having an inspection like this is critical. If there has been flooding or other types of water damage within the home – in any area of the home – mold testing can help determine if there’s a need for more extensive remediation.

Allow Express Restoration to help you with the mold testing in your home or other residential property. We can create documentation from these inspections that you can use as needed as well. Our certified technicians are available to set up a consultation that fits your needs.
